In the project, we provide quality trainings to health care workers and volunteers in health promotion, screening, early diagnosis and basic treatment for diabetes and hypertension. Training materials have been adapted to local culture and local context. SUNI-SEA also shares relevant information with community members concerning the risk factors for NCDs, prevention and community-based activities to promote or regain health.

Consortium capacity building

Besides, there were many capacity building activities that aimed at researchers from the project countries and intended to exchange knowledge and expertise between the researchers within the SUNI-SEA project. Several webinars were delivered with a focus on research in health promotion and disease prevention.
