SUNI-SEA European consortium members visited Hai Phongone, one of the two study areas in Vietnam. The delegation included four researchers from the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) / Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen and Trvana University.
Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University, Dr Diah Kurnia Mirawati, and Dr Ari Natalia Probandari welcomed Dr Jeanet Landman and Z.E. Partdoel from University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) to Indonesia for a four-day visit programme, during 29 October – 1 November 2019.
The kick-off meeting of SUNI-SEA project activities in one of our research sites, Batang District in Central Java Indonesia was attended by SUNISEA project officials and stakeholders from Batang districts.
On 13-14 May 2019, the SUNI-SEA Indonesia research team hold a two-day workshop on “Literature Review and Secondary Data” in Central Java.
The four-year research project, titled ‘Scaling-up NCD Intervention in South-East Asia’ (SUNI-SEA) has commenced with the first gathering in Thailand.
