In April, Vietnam country team organised two classes of “Training on Non-communicable Disease Management and Intervention” for 20 Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs (ISHCs) and relevant stakeholders in Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city.
The topics covered: 1) ageing and health problems of older people; 2) ISHC model; 3) introduction to SUNI-SEA project and stakeholder roles/activities; 4) introduction to hypertension and diabetes; effective screening, control, and prevention skills for hypertension and diabetes; 5) Healthy lifestyle; 6) Reports and 7) how to use tablet and data entry for DHIS2 software.
